Friends

I love making new friends. Aside for a venue to make connections, my work also allows me to meet some really interesting people. Lately, I've been seeing a lot of Angela Laurel. She's the youngest sister of Rajo who also happens to be a make-up artist. She's been working on a lot of our shoots such as Avon and Fashion Week. She's fairly new to the business and wants some help putting together her portfolio, so that's what we've been doing for the past two days. Did I mention that she's Kate's friend and Pam's thesis mate is college? I swear, this industry just keeps getting smaller and smaller.

Last night, Bunnee, Jigs, Kate, Kina, Pam, Ton, Chari, Abi, and Kaye Ann and I saw Once On This Island at RCBC. It's been a while since I last saw a play and this one was very good. Not only was the acting and singing great, but it was also different from the usual Atlantis plays that I catch. Bito was exceptionally good, but I think Philippine theater found a new talent in Raki Vega who was amazing!

People have told me that getting into business with friends isn't a good idea. It hasn't been easy but my friends and I are very proud of these:

Stories

It's been a while since my last post mainly because I've been so busy with work that I have difficulty finding time to blog. But, after a very relaxing vacation and getting back on track after the vacation, I'm settled all over again. A lot has happened since Finishing Touches: ICON's third issue was launched and released, three days of non-stop partying at Circuit Asia, editorial planning at Island Cove, Cruised Out - the first pink asian cruise, and lastly reunions with friends who've returned from abroad. I have so many stories and photos to share. I'll start with this photo from work...
