Birthday

Now that my birthday is over, I can truly say I had a great celebration. I didn't really want a party, which I got. All I wanted was to see three people who are really important to me right now. I got that too. Plus, there was a bonus. Bunnee had a surprise for me... Vince Ripoll. While have drinks at Trio in the Fort, I saw him walk by and I literally jumped from my seat and ran to him. I jumped on him because I was so excited.

To the people who forgot it was my birthday...shame on you. Frances, Jean, Richard and Jigs.

Thanks Richie, Mon, and LA for spending the last two days with me.

Tods

I'm going through a moccassin addiction. Shoot, is it age? Late last year, I started to change my choice of drink to Scotch which is a clear sign that my taste buds are maturing. Now, I'm buying slimmer pants (I bought these ultra low-rise DSquared jeans), wearing polos and knits to work and now this loafer craze. I purchased these gorgeous Tods wannabe loafers from Tyler in Camel and now I'm eyeing this other pair from Tods in blue, but I can't afford it yet. Anyone want to contribute to my Tods fund? It is the only thing I really want for my birthday.



As much as I hate to admit it, I love it that I'm maturing. Taste wise and hopefully I'm also wiser (and this blog is also turning into a fashion blog).

A Happy Birthday

After a long long wait, I finally got my hands on a complete set of V Man--my favorite men's magazine of all time. I bought issues 3 to 5 here in the Philippines and I couldn't get my hands on the first two issues. After a lot of trouble from Dre and Ate Sherry, I now have all of them. It truly is a happy birthday.



Special thanks to Edsel (for introducing me to the magazine), Pam (issue 1 was her Christmast gift), Dre (for trying to get it for me), and Ate Sherry (for being the best sister and succeeding in getting it for me).
